In April 2020, we’ve added a local database to the design of the tool. What we can do though is minimize the required number of calls to these APIs. We can’t control the time needed by APIs to retrieve streams or a disc information from Spotify.

Still, Billboard charts provide the ultimate truth for artist or album sales, however, fans began to care more about other charts - charts tailored to their own interests, or to their lifetstyle as well as charts that helped them discover great new music, rather than just the music that other people were listening to. They provided the full extent of the knowledge about the current music marketplace. 
There was a time when we only had to look at one or two charts in Billboard.
